The Disposable Laryngoscope Handle Shell is powered by the laryngoscope insert for HEINE Standard F.O. handles. The laryngoscope insert can be removed from the handle shell after intubation without risk of contamination.
The XP Disposable Handle Shell is especially designed for the use with 2.5 V and 3.5 V Xenon Halogen and LED laryngoscope inserts. The HEINE Laryngoscope Insert is placed inside the Disposable Handle Shell and is switched on by turning the bottom cap. After the procedure, the user simply unscrews the bottom cap and slides the clean laryngoscope insert out, leaving just the cap, XP handle shell and XP laryngoscope blade to be disposed of.
