Radiofrequency is a technology which has been used in surgery over the last 70 years. It has a dual effect; firstly it creates a superficial heating of the skin’;s surface for instant tightening of loose skin on the body and secondly, deeper heating of the subcutaneous tissue that aids in the breakdown of fatty deposits and cellulite, whilst firming the skin. Treatment is suitable for the arms, abdomen, buttocks and thighs.
Trio also offers a unique cooling device which provides patient comfort and epidermal protection. The radiofrequency current is applied via a hand-piece which is gently moved across the treated area in circular massaging motions.
