In every industry, water is used in one form or other. Water is mainly used as a cooling medium in industries for equipments like heat exchangers, compressors, radiators, chillers, spot welding guns, diesel generator sets, furnaces, condensers, etc. As we all know untreated water can cause harm to the equipments as impurities like dissolved, suspended solids shall form thin deposits in the pipelines, tubes, water passages etc., which is called scales.

Chiller Chemicals are used to minimize corrosion to closed loop water systems. It primary purpose is the removal of the corrosive substance by the means of passivation, precipitation, or adsorption. Passivation works best for laboratory chillers, industrial chillers, and process chillers and for other closed loop systems. Passivation inhibitors form a protective oxide film on the metal surfaces. Their protective films are tenacious and will rapidly repair it if damaged. The most common and most cost effective closed loop chemical used to passivity your water system is a Nitrite, Borate, and Silicate closed loop chemical. For very critical closed loop systems, a straight molybdate product is used to control corrosion.
Ask what the feedrate ppm (parts per million rate) is of the chemical.
For closed loop water system, the product is typically added to a industrial pot feeder.
