The Inspiration Elite Respironics Nebulizer by Philips is designed for easy operation and convenient usage as the device is compact and robust. Weighing about 1500 g, this nebulizer is lightweight and portable, enabling you to carry it with you even if you are travelling. This Respironics Nebulizer comes in four main components comprising of the compressor unit, air tube, medication cup and a mouthpiece with the option of using a face mask as well.
Built to provide enhanced convenience, the main unit is designed with handset docking. You can place your medication cup and mouthpiece on the dock, allowing easy handling of the equipment. The main unit houses an easy-to-use on/off switch and a connector that links the main unit to the mouthpiece and medication cup by air tubing. The medication cup holds sufficient amount of medication which is just right for your treatment. You also have the option of using a face mask or mouthpiece to inhale the prescribed medication. The face masks come in different sizes suitable for both adults and children.

The Philips Inspiration Elite Respironics Nebulizer operates at an average air flow rate of 5.4 slpm, therefore capable of delivering a high concentration of aerosol to the narrow branches in the lower airways of your lungs. Equipped with a Thermal Overload Protectorthat has a variable trip temperature of up to 150 degree Celsius, the machine automatically switches off the current supply to the compressor, preventing excessive flow of current.
This Philips Nebulizer also comes with filters that reduce the chance of infection by removing bacteria from the gas delivered to your lungs, thereby meeting hygiene and health standards. The nebulizer provides you with four spare filters as it is always advisable to change your filters regularly to ensure that the air you breathe in is clean. The Respironics compressor Nebulizer consumes 50 W of electricity and requires a power supply of 230 V, 50 Hz for a sound functioning.
